Interior

The interior parts are adding up. Good news is that they are all in great shape. I will replace the carpet with a new one from Year One and refinish the door skins. The interior will remain black but we are still not sure about the exterior color. I am still open for suggestions - Yellow, Mopar green, Crazy purple or Mopar orange?

The top comes off.

The top is out thanks to help from Kyle and a few Keith beer.

The project continues

Once the fender and door was removed it was time to take out the convert top. I had a buddy stop in to assist because it was to heavy for Justin otherwise he would have been there too.

Front fender removal

Justin jumped right in and started the tear down by removing the interior then moved on to the front fender. He was a great help.

Quarter panel and wheelhouse

Repair to the quarter panel just kept growing. After the removal of a botched job at some point prior to my owning the car, I started the tear down. The old quarter came off and uncovered a rusty wheelhouse. Now I am in search of a replacement. I built up the bottom lip of the outer wheelhouse as well as replaced the trunk extension. Now I need to repair or replace the inner wheel house prior to the new quarter panel installation.
